April 25 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
Advisicon and your local Microsoft Account team invite you to the State and Local Government Project & Portfolio Management Workshop. The workshop is a free, one-day session offered Tuesday, April 25th, for executives, project managers, and project team members to learn about the power of Microsoft Project Online and how it can help you improve your Project to Portfolio management processes and PMO activities.
The workshop will have deep dive discussions and demonstrations. The sessions will be focused around providing a day-in-the-life view of utilizing Project Online with a goal to improve the maximizing ROI of your Project Portfolio.
These sessions will allow you to see how to leverage Project Online to identify risks for your Project Portfolio. You will see first-hand how you can streamline the demand management process for your new projects and get a first-hand look at how to do a detailed financial analysis of new and existing projects to get the most out of your portfolio when faced with limited budgets and resources.
In addition, we will be exploring new ways to improve the reporting and data insights from your project portfolio and show new strategies to help meet the demands project managers face on project and portfolio reporting.
These sessions will be a true-to-life end-user experience with Industry Experts covering Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and technical approaches that will save you tons of time and streamline your use of both Project and Project Online. Topics being covered will be work-related scenarios such as staying productive while mobile, how to manage complex programs, and collaborating with coworkers on projects in real time.
Participating in this workshop is one of the best ways to learn about business productivity tools and technologies without sales pressure. Sessions are led by Advisicon’s Senior Portfolio trained facilitator and PPM expert. This workshop is designed to be interactive, experiential, and fun.
The training will also include 6 Professional Development Units (PDU’s) for PMPs or people looking to obtain or keep their PMI PMP certification.
