Advisicon’s consultants are active in a number of professional associations and communities of practice. We share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and help professional practitioners build project management best practices in their cultures.
Project Management Institute (PMI) — Advisicon's team members are active in the Project Management Institute at a number of levels. Advisicon frequently provides speakers for the Portland, Willamette Valley, Bend, and Mexico City chapters. Our team has also presented at PMI national and global events. Most of Advisicon's team are certified Project Management Professionals (PMP).
Program Management Forum — Advisicon supports the Project Management Forum as a sponsor and with speakers since 2005. Advisicon President, Tim Runcie also serves on the PMF Board of Directors.
Microsoft Project User Group (MPuG) - Portland Cascade Chapter — Advisicon's President, Tim Runcie was one of the founding members and Advisicon has provided leadership and support to the Microsoft Project User community over the years.
